Artificial intelligence isn't coming, it's already here, and in many cases it's not even knocking: it came in on its own, sat at your desk, and is working better than you without you even knowing it.
They call it artificial intelligence, but to me it reminds me of a siren, yes, the very one from the myths, the one that enchants, that beckons, that throws you off course if you don't know what you are looking for. But this time there is no deception: its song promises no illusions, but efficiency, speed, precision. And if you are awake, even inspiration.
It used to be the thing of rich people, of engineers with Google badges. Instead, today it's there, in your pocket, in your phone, in the platform you use to edit video, write a post or decide on a strategy. And those who haven't figured it out yet are already trudging along, perhaps not listening to the siren at all.
More than 60 percent of companies are using it, the data says, and if you don't like the data, know that artificial intelligence loves it - and turns it into vision, products, benefits. According to IBM (IBM AI Adoption Index), global adoption of artificial intelligence has already passed the critical threshold, while Goldman Sachs - AI Investment Forecast (2025) predicts the market will exceed $200 billion by 2025(Statista AI Revenue 2025). But I know anyway, you still wait until you "understand it better" before you do anything.
Spoiler: by the time you understand this strange siren, it's already late. And someone else will have used it better than you.
Artificial intelligence doesn't steal work, it doesn't take away creativity, it doesn't erase you, it doesa different thing: it takes away the superfluous, tall that unnecessary drudgery, the repetitive tasks, the bureaucracy that burns up your time and your will to do, ti leaves you naked, yes, but in front of what really matters: your idea, your vision, your will to dare.
Meanwhile she works, nn marketing, in medicine, in art, scribes codes, suggests titles, creates images, analyzes patterns, finds correlations that you wouldn't even see with a blackboard full of post-it notes and two sleepless nights.
Stephen Hawking said that intelligence is the ability to change, and perhaps that is the hardest part, phy change means admitting that not everything you know is enough, that not everything you are is eternal.
And I know, it's scary.
But if there is one thing artificial intelligence will never do-at least not yet-it is choose for you whether to stand still or start dancing with it, thehe siren sings, theworld listens. What about you?
"True intelligence is the ability to change."
AI gives us that ability. It's up to us to decide whether we use it to evolve-or stand still while everything transforms.
